EMERGENCY ORDER WITH DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY – LOCAL EMERGENCY ORDER FOR THE TOWN OF CAIRO

DEBRA BOGINS, TOWN SUPERVISOR OF CAIRO, HAS DECLARED A DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY FOR 48 HOURS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER AND FLOODING.  This order shall be effective immediately and shall remain in effect until removed by order of the Supervisor.  Please note that Town Hall will be closed until Friday, 9:00 a.m.

FYI… See & Be Kitchen is hosting their 6th Annual Bake Sale BBQ this weekend and getting the whole town involved! This town-wide event will feature a massive Bake Sale on Bross Street, Dunk Tank, Arts and Crafts at the Art Hub, free Face Painting and Lemonade Stand at Better Days Books, sidewalk art and Superhero Adventure Course at Paradise Inn, Pit Poppa’s smoked meat BBQ, and more!! The Cairo Comprehensive Plan Committee will also be on site collecting community survey responses—come share your voice on Cairo’s future. All of the funds raised will go to support Cairo’s 24/7 Community Free Fridge, administered by the Cairo Development Foundation. Want to get involved?
