The Supervisor has declared a snow emergency for snow removal on Main Street from February 22 thru February 23, 2026. Parking shall only be allowed on the odd side of the street from 8 PM – 8 AM and on the even side of the street from 8 AM – 8 PM. Please review the Local Law below for regulating Parking of Vehicles and/or Machinery: Local-Law-2-of-2022-Parking-of-Vehicles-and-or-Machinery-on-Highways-within-the-Town.

On March 2, at 7:00 pm, at the Cairo Town Hall. The Cairo Town Board shall hold a Public Hearing to present the proposed six-month moratorium for Local Law #2 of 2026 imposing a temporary town-wide, six-month, moratorium on Battery Energy Storage Systems.

The Supervisor has declared the Town Hall will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026 due to town declared snow emergency. All town residents please stay safe. The Town Hall will resume normal operating hours Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 9 am.
