Water Service Temporarily Shut Down Wednesday April 24, 2024 from 8 – 11:30 am

On April 24, 2024 from 8am – 11:30 am, the water Department will be installing a new watermain pipe. To facilitate water piping work, the tie-in connection for the new watermain requires a temporary shutdown.

The shutdown should only affect Hannaford Market and Plaza (Best Wok, Nail Salon, Excel PT and Mateo’s), Dalton Donuts, Cumberland Farms and the Smoke Shop.

Public Hearing on April 17, 2024 at 7pm

There will be a Town of Cairo Public Hearing on April 17, 2024 at 7pm in the Town Hall meeting room proposing an amendment to Local Law #3 of 2020 enacting certain changes to the Town of Cairo Parking, Stopping and Standing law.
