DEBRA BOGINS, TOWN SUPERVISOR OF CAIRO, HAS DECLARED A DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY FOR 48 HOURS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER AND FLOODING. This order shall be effective immediately and shall remain in effect until removed by order of the Supervisor. Please note that Town Hall will be closed until Friday, 9:00 a.m.
The hereby order includes the following:
- Travel restricted in defined areas;
- Procurement and acquisition of materials, equipment and services via standard bidding procedures is suspended;
- All mutual aid agreements remain in effect;
- Emergency Operation Center remains in 24/7 operation mode; and
- Enter onto such private property for the purpose of temporarily storing debris and other storm related materials as is necessary.
